Had a great time on Friday reading at Antigone's Bookstore with Franci Washburn. We both have musical mysteries, so we talked about some of the influences musical bands have had on our lives. Franci was in a band years ago and had lots of adventures while traveling to different gigs. A friend told her to write about her experiences, and she wound up with the Red-Bird All-Indian Traveling Band. I talked about mariachi music, of course, and the way it led me to MARIACHI MURDER!
