The INternational Carillon festival
In June of 2022 I was invited to participate in the International Carillon Festival. I'd given some copies of Carillon Chase to the Carillon Belles. They passed a copy onto the carillonneur, Carlo van Ulft, and he loved it! I was afraid he would think I was a nut case! He might still think that, but he's keeping quiet about it.
I signed books at the festival and gave a book reading. (Video links are below.) More importantly, I had the chance to meet the "carillon groupies." The Belles, the van Ulfts, and all the volunteers were so kind to invite me to the festival and make me feel so welcomed. Now I have a new Springfield family!
