There's only one little problem with traveling--it's hard to write at the same time! Nevertheless, despite a summer in Europe, I finished my third Andy Veracruz novel, which will be titled Dizzy in Durango. The mystery will be coming out in the fall. Of course, Andy manages to get himself into a lot more trouble!
I'll add details later. Instead I'll merely celebrate that I got an "Honorable Mention" in the Arizona Mystery Writers contest for my short story "The Distractor." The reviewers liked the story and thought the characters were colorful yet believable. They advised me to send the story out as soon as possible--which I already did!
