Umbria's most famous town is Orvieto, which is also the home of the Arizona in Italy Study Program. Students can choose from a variety of classes ranging from English to Art to Archaeology to Italian. The five-week program is based in Orvieto, conveniently located on the train line between Rome and Florence. Students attend classes Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays are dedicated to field trips to nearby towns.

Classes for English majors generally include Creative Non-Fiction, the Modern Novel, or Shakespeare's Italian plays. The classes help satisfy requirements for students with English, English Education, or Creative Writing majors.
